One of my personal favorites, this area and neighborhood are the crown jewel in all of San Diego! There are places that you go and see in San Diego but none compare to historic Mission Hills. Situated above Old Town, where it all began with San Diego's discovery, the first home, Villa Orizaba, was built in 1887 and subsequent subdivisions such as the original Mission Hills, Inspiration Heights, Florence Heights and others were developed in the early 20th century. Some of San Diego's finest architects and master builders designed and built homes in this area. Driving through the unique and eclectic neighborhoods, you will find the quintessential essence of days of long past to the present. Although, there are many beautiful craftsmen style homes, the mission revival is the most classic San Diego home with it's rounded crown elevations and mission style look. The area homes range from $1,200,000 up to $5,500,000 depending on home floor plan size and lot dimensions. Also, some of these master built homes may qualify for historic designation and Mills Act if applicable. Check with me for further information and I can guide you in that area.
